Tucson Medical Center Healing Arts Program

On Thursday, April 16 2026, Jenna Green of the Tucson Medical Center Healing Arts program, along with five students from her ARE 420 course at the University of Arizona, hosted an opening craft for a concert performance by Samba Southwest. Located at the Rich with Life Park at the Grant and Craycroft location, multiple participant came together to do mixed media collage icons of samba dancers, which were later sew together as a community paper quilt. This reflected the history of samba while also showing that we are all different and yet are a part of the same community.
